                                                 About this little project
Hello everyone. My name is Mykyta Sichkar. I am a freelance 3D artist, my main job is creating visualizations for interiors and exterior projects. And today I would like to show you my latest project and tell you about it.

Why do I highlight this particular project so much? Since this is my first project made entirely in blender 3d and using Photoshop for post-processing. For me, this was a completely new experience both technologically and technically compared to my work in 3ds max and Corona render.

The biggest differences I would say are the following:
  * Using geometric nodes to reproduce all kinds of objects. In this case, trees, stones and leaves on the roof and on the ground.
  * I did not create the grass separately, I used the grass texture from the forest and the sand texture from Megascans. This was one material with a mix of displacement texture. To create a smooth transition between them. But I had to work separately on the texture of the grass to break up its repetition. I think it turned out quite well.
*The most important improvement for me was the transition to GPU rendering. Since on a video card this render took 3 minutes 20 seconds in 4k resolution. Video adapter 4070ti super. This result was obtained taking into account the fact that no optimization was carried out in the scene and all textures were in 4k. The boards and ground were made through displacement and also all the stones and rocks are 3D scans. The fog is created by two fog materials in the scene. After optimization, render time was reduced to two minutes, twenty-three seconds.
This optimization was done to create animation in this project.

I will be glad to see your likes and questions.
